Sports betting - Horse racing
Betting on horse racing can be both a
complex science or a lucky art. Either way there are
many considerations to take into account and many options
for betting, so we have compiled an entire site to cover
the subject. For further information please visit: http://www.horse-racing-student.co.uk
In brief, the following bets are normally permitted
at a horse race meeting:
Win – A bet on a particular dog
to win.
Place – A bet in a particular
dog to win or come in a placed position (usually first,
second and third).
Each way – A combination of the
above bets.
Forecast – A prediction of which
two horses will come first and second, in the correct
order.
Reverse forecast – Two bets combining
two different permutations of two horses coming first
and second in the correct order.
Treble - A prediction of which three
horses will come first, second and third, in the correct
order.
Multiples – There are a wide
range of multiple and accumulator bets on offer, all
available with full or partial cover.
Specials – A range of special
bets may also be available at the bookmaker’s
discretion.
