In addition, there may be a number of other rules, including:

  • Limits – The maximum payout of some small firms may be very much smaller than that of high street bookmakers, so you should always check that your intended bet is covered by the maximum payout.
  • 90 minutes – Bets are always settled on the basis of 90 minutes’ play, except in some special cases where both outright odds and 90 minute odds may be on offer.
  • First scorer bets – Sometimes, stakes may be returnable on players not taking oart or coming on after the first goal. Therefore, you should check the team information after matches have been played. Most bookmakers do not include own-goals in scorer betting.
  • Late bets – Bets my be void if placed after kick off, though some bookmakers have a leeway of up to five minutes.
