Sports betting - American football
For American football games, the following
bets are normally permitted:
Future – An outright
win on the winner of the competition, either a division,
or the overall championship.
Side - A bet on a team to win the game
outright, usually with a handicap applied.
Moneyline – A bet to win the
game outright, i.e. with no handicapping.
Total – A bet on whether the
combined scores of both teams will go over or under
the nominated total.
Top points scorer –A bet to predict
which player will score the highest number of points.
Head to head - A bet to predict which
player will score the highest number of points out of
a selection of two.
Parlays – Combination of several
different predictions (in one sport or across all the
US sports), all of which must be correct for the Parlay
to win.
Specials – A range of special
bets may also be available at the bookmaker’s
discretion.
In addition, there may be a number of other rules, including:
1. 55 mins must be played for bets to stand.
2. All overtime scores count.
3. All games must be played on the scheduled date and
venue or bets will be void.
